Dr. Jennifer Chu – Mineola, NY

Get to Know
Dr. Jennifer Chu

Dr. Jennifer Chu is relatively new to our practice, but she’s done excellent work with us from the start. Her love for the job is evident, as she devotes herself to changing smiles and improving patient confidence. At Meadowbrook Dental Care, Mineola residents can trust her to help with many dental needs. As for her other details, our office is happy to tell you more. Just keep reading to learn what Dr. Chu can do for you!

Why Did You
Become a Dentist?

Dr. Chu decided to pursue dentistry during her young adult years. At that time, she shadowed some dentists for her studies and decided their field was perfect. In particular, she thought it was the perfect combination of helping people and artistry.

This conviction only grew as she began practicing herself. By working with patients, she saw their smiles restored and the happiness this brought so many people. At that point, Dr. Chu knew she had found her calling.

Where Did You
Study Dentistry?

Dr. Chu began her dental studies at the New York University College of Dentistry. While there, she also did a General Dentistry Residency with the Bronx's Lincoln Hospital. After earning her doctorate, the good doctor worked as an associate general dentist in Bethlehem and Easton, Pennsylvania. Her education has since continued as she’s learned Endodontics, restorative dentistry, Invisalign, and oral surgery.

Today, Dr. Chu is a proud member of the following organizations:

The American Dental Association

The New York State Dental Association

The Chinese American Dental Association

Outside of the Office,
What Do You Like to Do?

As a New York resident, Dr. Chu has many great pastimes. She particularly loves spending time with her husband and two toddler children. That said, you can also find her traveling, exercising in the neighborhood, and enjoying food from different cultures. In fact, that last hobby once prompted her to compete in a dumpling-eating competition! (She didn’t win, but she found it a worthwhile experience.)
