Why Did You Become a Dentist?

In reality, Dr. Rosenwald didn’t always think she’d become a dentist. That decision only came after her own experiences in the dental chair.

It all started in Dr. Rosenwald’s childhood. Back then, she had many cavities and often visited her local dentist. Those visits, in turn, left a deep impression on her. Inspired by her dentist’s help, she decided she wanted to relieve other patients’ pain as dentists did for her.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After her time at Queens College, Dr. Rosenwald got her dental doctorate from Touro College of Dental Medicine. She also pursued two residencies at New York-Presbyterian Queens, focusing on dental trauma, full mouth rehab, and treating medically complex patients. Her education has since continued through work with accredited dental groups. She particularly prides herself on being a member of the American Dental Association and the New York Dental Association.

Outside of the Office, What Do You Like to Do?

When she’s not working, Dr. Rosenwald makes the most of her off hours. That often means spending time with her friends and family, especially her husband and three kids. She also enjoys hobbies like exercise, cooking, and baking. She’ll even try something daring on occasion – she once, in fact, ice-climbed down a glacier in Iceland!
